PREFACE.

The following Pages are sent forth with a view of calling Public attention to the present state of New Zealand, and are addressed to all who feel an interest in the subject of Colonization, and who believe in the importance of urging upon the Legislature the necessity of immediately adopting a more systematic, a less exclusive, and a more economical policy.
