NEW ZEALAND.
Church Miss. Soc. -- Messrs. Thomas Chapman, William Colenso, Christopher P. Davies, James Hamlin, and Joseph Matthews, were admitted to Deacons' Orders on the 22d of September last, by the Bishop of New Zealand. The Rev. O. Hadfield having for some time suffered in his health, was compelled to leave his Station for Wellington in December last.
